You’re an elopement chapel can we just show up and get married?
We are an appointment only based elopement chapel and we book all elopements on our booking site. You can email us any questions at lovesickchapel@gmail.com
Do you offer religious ceremonies?
We do not provide religious ceremonies. Our focus is on civil weddings that emphasize love and commitment without any specific religious traditions or affiliations.
Do you offer LGBTQIA+ weddings?
No matter your gender identity or sexual orientation, Lovesick Chapel is here to help you create a wedding day that reflects your unique love story. Your journey to marriage is a personal one, and we are honored to be a part of it.
What if my guests are late?
Unfortunately we are unable to delay the ceremony as we have multiple weddings a day. We recommend having your guests arrive early and check in when you do.
What are the requirements for a marriage at Lovesick Chapel?
To get married at Lovesick Chapel, you must obtain a valid marriage license from the city and get married within 90 days of obtaining the license.
When should I arrive for my ceremony?
Arrive 15 minutes before your ceremony and bring your marriage license with you at the time of check-in.
Do you offer rehearsals?
No we do not offer rehearsals.
Do I have to pay a deposit upon booking?
Yes, we require a non refundable 50% deposit upon booking. The balance must be paid 14 days before ceremony.
Is there room to dress? Do you make sure the Bride and Groom don’t see other prior to the ceremony?
We have limited space so we do not have dressing rooms or private areas for anyone to wait. All couples and guests should arrive dressed and ready. We do not have dressing rooms or a bridal suite. We have one restroom on site for the couple and guests to use before and after the ceremony.
Can I bring in my own photographer/videographer?
Absolutely!
Am I able to cancel and get a refund?
you CAN cancel but canceling will result in loss of ALL DEPOSITS, FULL PAYMENTS & FEES. There are no exceptions. You will be responsible for the full amount due if cancellation happens within 14 days of your contracted date.
WE DO NOT REQUIRE PROOF OF MARRIAGE FOR A "RENEWAL OF VOWS” OR “COMMITMENT” CEREMONY.
WE DO REQUIRE ALL RENEWAL OF VOWS TO SIGN A DOCUMENT THAT CONFIRMS THIS CEREMONY IS BEING PERFORMED AS A RENEWAL AND NOT A LEGAL CEREMONY. WE ONLY PERFORM LEGAL MARRIAGE OR A RENEWAL OF VOWS CEREMONIES AT LOVESICK CHAPEL.
